deebisuu restaurant

This was a project for my Advanced Identity class at CCA. The goal was to create an identity for a sociopolitical restaurant. I created Deebisuu, a proposal for a very Americanized, high-end Ethiopian restaurant, with aims  at donating profits to fight a condition caused by extreme malnutrition, called "stunting", which effects 67% of Ethiopian population. This would not be a very large restaurant, so we would want our impact to go as far as possible, and so the proceeds would be directed specifically towards children of ages five and under, as well as pregnant and nursing mothers, as these are the stages at which stunting is most preventable in children.
